Take the Reins announces Summer Camps 2025Learn more and register here for our Inaugural Camps this summer!In 2025, Take the Reins Youth Stable for Life will run its inaugural series of week-long summer camps for up to 36 Indianapolis students in grades 6-8. Camps will occur throughout the month of June and run from Monday through Thursday from approximately 9am to 3pm. The program is free to the students and this includes transportation to our partner equestrian stables outside the city.Learn more about Summer Camp and Register
Summer Camps are core to our Phase 1 Launch 45K programSummer camps are at the core of our Start Up Campaign's Phase 1. While the students will begin to build their foundation of skills and experience that will enable them to make choices as we move to a year round program, Take the Reins will gain valuable experience needed to make the program optimal for meeting the needs and objectives set for the youth. Camp will be completely FREE to students.It's expensive to run our program. Costs will likely run as high as $900 per student. Because it is “all or nothing” to run a camp, we are counting on all of our donors to consider providing the costs to send one or two kids to camp.
